China recent scandal scare of deadly chemical melamine contamination

The recent scare by of Milk products containing melamine, a chemical hugely used in making fertilizers and plastics, has caused an uproar globally as many countries are withdrawing and banning the milk products from their countries. More than 53,000 children are affected by the effects of melamine are drinking contaminated dairy products. In Singapore, tests taken from imported Chinese product shows a third source of contamination. Even a widely popular sweet, White Rabbit Creamy Candy from China contains melamine. Across China, there is a sweep for the removal of a affected dairy products.
