Many expats or foreigners who had been living here in Shanghai for years should realise by now that it is better to rent an apartment that’s recently built. Renting an old apartment could be be a dream of some, and having the identity of living in historical areas fascinates many. However, it’s always bad when winter comes annually, as there is no central heating system, one will always fill the devillish cold of the winter wind seaping in into your living area. It can be maddening to get use to it.
