Vietnam Trip Day 1 & 2

The following close to 200 posts are a series of rescue actions for data that was lost due to upgrade of server. The posts will be shorter and not be in full context. Vietnam Trip - Day 1

Teng and I went on a trip this 5-1 holiday. We left Shanghai on the 29th April and arrived in Vietnam the next day. The trip was planned 2 weeks to departure. We paid 1000rmb for taxes in total for the trip. Yes, the air ticket was free. Haha, why so? I got this Star Alliance card, which had me accumulating mileage points over the years when I travel. So I took out some point and redempt for two tickets to Vietnam. Mind you, the trip didn’t come cheap for the points. I took out a total of 140k in mileage points for this trip, enough to set me off to Greece for two(our dream destination). ..’

Vietnam Trip - Day 2

We woke early in the morning. Teng urged me up, I went for a shower and we checked out from our hostel. Went to the check-out counter to tell the staff we would like to leave off some baggage at the hostel, and tell them we will be coming back tomorrow. We quickly went off to the road in front of Singh Cafe. It was a 10 minutes walk. We arrived early, so we went off for a quick breakfast by the street vendor. Order a cold Chee-chiong-fan look alike local dish, washed it down with a nice thick hot milk coffee. Still, even after doing all this, the bus did not arrive. ..
