What I Do
I don’t do much really. I work. Spend time with the woman I love.
But I do read a lot about the industry I work in. Sometimes I don’t have enough time spend too much time reading on these coming to 100 blogs where I gather my knowledge.
In time to come, I will post about the coffee scene in Singapore and coffee in general.

Bro, some corrections, or rather updates..
My social life don’t bling bling, I don’t have much friends, but close and worthy ones are few and more valuable than, umm, two in the bush, although they are not in bushes. But my love life is steady and approaching an important milestone, which we are looking at flats to move into, which of course will involve marriage. Our wacky parents proposed a wacky idea, which I will post about soon.
Well, I do admit that I don’t spend enough time at home, but I will. If Singapore is too small for you, then don’t come back, or maybe at least not now. I kinda like figured that my future lies here in Singapore.
Wah Han can revive both here and wherever we want it to. Maybe one here, and one in China. That is a dream, which I hope we can make it happen.
The Heritage Board is growing and will become a feature in Singapore’s efforts to be a venue for whatever that is related to art. You will have options here if you wanna come back.
Mom and dad can retire in Singapore la. Can’t imagine Dad without the internet, and Mum without her tv…

Nah, you do a lot. You travel, and i mean really travel. have fun and relax. You scuba. Your social life still bling blings. Still, you have your commitments. Remember a conversation I had with you in 2004? I told you about my dreams, how I felt after I broke off with Lyn, of how everything was shattered and I only had a half dream left.
The half dream kept me alive till now. Maybe another 1/2 dream occur and I am moving on with it to build something for life.
But you said something like only one of us can get out of Singapore. The other half must remain in Singapore to take care of family, papa and mama.
You know what? If you ever have the chance to go out, let say Starbucks need someone to take care of a branch in Shanghai or Beijing, or maybe somewhere else in China, will you go for it?
I thought about many things. About whether I want to go back to Singapore and work in a museum. Or can i work in some auction house or a small gallery.
I also thought about whether is it possible to open Wah Han In china, a small kopi tiam with a guesthouse, sell everything cheap but make it successful through quality of service and good hostelling. But all this maybe come later in the future and never now.
As for everything else, I wish papa and mama can just move off to malaysia or china, retire and live the rest of their lives simple without worrying about us both. But will that be possible?
