Vietnam Trip - Day 3 at the red sand dune
Early in the morning on the third day, we were woke up early by two Baotran Staffs for a quick trip around the town at some scenic sites. I was bathing when the staffs knock on our door. We quickly brushed up, packed ourselves for the trip. Pass a jacket to Teng, just in case it got too cold for her.
We booked the trip for 20usd, can be cheaper, but I guess let’s say it’s an investments to make the staffs happy. Rented two motorbikes. And we were taxi there by the staffs. Teng never sat on a motorbike before. She was excited and scared at the same time.
Our first trip is to a natural red sand dune in Mui Ne, its pretty interesting, the fact that it’s pretty far away from the beach, and it’s natural formed. Because I photoshopped the photos, you can not really see how red it is. But I can assure you, its pretty RED!
Teng still looked pretty dazed, not fully awake yet. And she has some problems with her tummy after eating the seafood from the street vendor. A very unfortunate circumstance I guess to happen on this trip. Despite that, she still managed to smile for a photo.
I had not seen a sunrise this beautiful for a long time. And it’s always interesting to see the sun coming out slowly, and becoming bigger in size from the horizon.
The Village look from the Red Sand dune.
We managed to find someone to take a photo for us. We still looked pretty dazed.
Nope that’s not us. Just happend to have another couple somewhere out there.
We went down to the local coffeeshop for a coffee. Tuk and Tahn, our baotran staff, were resting there too. I tried a sip of local Vietnamese Tea. It’s pretty good. Teng was still suffering from the tummy ache. After a while we headed off to another sand dune 35 minutes away by bike.
