On the last day of my trip to HCM, I went to the Vietnam War Memorial, and I came upon some archives materials on photographers who died in Vietnam War. There were about 135 photographers from all over the world, who endangered their lives right in front of the battlefield, in order to report about what was going on inside Vietnam. Among them, were three photographers from Singapore: Canagaratnam Chellappah, Sam Kai Faye and Terence Khoo. Maybe it was the impact of the information that gone through my head that day. Or maybe it was a zealous movement to which I feel they should be remembered and honoured.
