Removal of “gray mourning” from site.
I just removed the total gray look from Haumau site. For firefox users, you most probably would not have notice it. I inserted it as a part of the 3 day morning held in China for the Sichuan Earthquake. Many China sites during these period had their webpages desaturated. And all public places stopped many forms of entertainment. Like in Parkson’s Retail outlet, there was no playing of any forms of music throughout their stalls.
The turning of the whole site into a gray site was actually very easy. All you had to do was insert a script in style.css:
html { filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(grayscale=1);}
