December 2004 - A Visit and a New Friend
This is a series oh photographs of a friend from Jilin Province. She was a nurse when I first came to know her. How I got to know her was maybe around 2003 or 2004 Mingyo got in into a Hit and Run accident in Beijing and was sent to the ICU unit in one of the hospitals there. When he woke up, this pretty lady was taking care of him.
So in December 2004, she came over to Shanghai and stayed with us for two weeks or so. Took her out to some places in Shanghai, and I remembered the day she left, it snowed. Later, a Singapore exchange student and I went to Beijing for travel and met up with her there again.
One thing to take note when taking photographs is that cannot always use wide angle shots. Look how plump she is and has to suffer under my blatant usage of 17mm wide angle lens. She was suppose to be a pretty decent 165cm lady!

wide angle lens doesnt seem to have made any distortion to the image here. looks very good actually.
