Some Coffee machines images I’d stolen from Hau
I dunno about coffee, and I learn abit while Hau was here in Shanghai last weekend. There are mainly two species of coffee sold worldwide, known as Arabica and Robusta. Most of our South-east Asian kopi belongs to the Robusta group. They are usually soury in taste, so when I heard that our South-east Asian Kopi that we drink so much back home do not cater to the taste of the locals here in China,
I was rather offended and wondered what’s the difference? So I asked Hau abuot the coffee in the market, most coffee like Nestle, Illy, Lavazza also use Robusta, so they should be sour as well, like our South-East Asian lousy beans that are roasted again to give that lovely aroma we love so much from our Kopi-tiams(coffeeshop). This debate over quality and taste of coffee derive from a conversation about whether selling our kopi in China for 1RMB a cup was feasible. Apparently, there was this 85 degree celcius Cafe growing up a couple of francise here in China. They are attracting a large crowd of people.
So I was wondering why our South-east Asian Kopi cannot do the same job? Bah. Anyway, below are some images I stolen from Hau’s Fuji compact Digi Camera(Yes, I love to steal images). They are some quality coffee machines from a tradeshow or convention Hau attended some time back before coming to China. Some images are blurry from low light conditions. I dunno much about them, but anything shiny and always attract the eye!
Hau, if you are reading this, and whatever is putting you off in writing any blog articles, and if it is because of “dunno how” to upload an image and use it online, here’s how. Find a image hosting site. For mine, I used MSN space(you can right click on image and find location of url after u upload), you can use a variety lie Flickr, Picassa or Facebook if you want o.O. After which you get the image location and link it whenever you need it from your Image hosting site in your post. Viola.
