Smoking Point that is. You cannot smoke in the streets in Tokyo. So here in Shinjujku, they allocated smoking points around, hoping to keep the place butts free and all, with smokers going to designated area to smoke. This, I think is very important to Japan as the place can get very crowded. Educating the young crowd to value and form a certain respects for the communals in a great way to link them back to the society, rather than talking about individuality all the time. Smoke-free streets is good for tourists too! I seriously feel that many candid shots can be taken in Japan.
